HP Elite Dragonfly G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an Elite Dragonfly G2, and something odd I noticed is that the remaining battery discharge time or charge time till full battery is missing in Windows 10. This is strange, and unwelcome, because I like to know how long I have left to use my computer on a charge. I looked some stuff up online and my BIOS has no setting to enable remaining charge time, and registry key editing didn't work because the mentioned keys on other systems don't exist on my system. Has anyone had this issue on the new G8 Elitebooks or the Elite Dragonfly G2? How do I fix it? Remaining battery time and charge time shows up fine in Linux, but not in Windows 10. I would really like this to be resolved soon, I honestly can't fathom why HP would disable this feature completely.

It is useless and misleading therefore Microsoft removed it. But if you loved it, you would be able to get it back. Please try

The registry key UserBatteryDischargeEstimator does not exist on my machine in the registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power, and deleting the key EnergyEstimationEnabled plus adding the key EnergyEstimationDisabled DWORD with value 00000000 does not change anything on my system even after restart or shutdown/startup.  There is also no "System Configuration" tab in the BIOS with battery time option on my machine. I really want to know how long my battery will last while I am using my computer, I certainly wouldn't call that feature "useless".
