Hi All,
Our company is currently having issues charging using HP Dock G5 USB-C.
This problem started right after a Windows Update was installed last December. We have atleast 250 units of HP EliteBook 840 G8.
we tried the following work around:
- Draining Residual Power
- Uninstalling ACPI Drivers in Device Manager (Batteries and USB Connector Managers)
- Restarting PC multiple times.
All the above workaround works but after a while, maybe few hours or few days, problem keeps on re-occurring.
We tried doing a BIOS Downgrade to version 01.10.00 and it works until after restart as the newer version will be reinstalled right after.
We are on the end of the line here, and it is affecting our company. Anyone encountered this or have a solution for this?
Appreciate your input!
Best Regards,
Jonas
