EliteBook G1 1050
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My EliteBook G1 1050 Laptop's battery does not want to fully charge (to 100%). It stops at 79% despite the charger is connected all day.

I have tried to empty the battery (to around 0 %) until the computer stops. But that seems not to fix the problem!

Do you think that one of the battery's cells has been disconnected?

Hello

in newer BIOS there is a feature called HP Battery Health Manager.

in order to decrease the occurance of battery swelling the battery is charged up to 80% instead of 100% when user uses the notebook most of the time connected to power supply.

if you want to have 100% of battery charge enter in BIOS setting, pressing F10 at power-on, and change the setting to "Maximum battery life" is it still exist.

bye
