Product: HP EliteBook 1040 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, hopefully you can help me. My 1040 G4 isn´t starting anymore. Has worked normally without any issue. This morning the Notebook started, and I´ve worked with Office for about an hour. I was off for 30 min and  when I came back the notebook didn´t start again. I thought it was in Sleep Mode. The battery was charged and the power supply was connected. The only LED which lights up is the battery light which is constantly yellow. USB-C Power Supply is working, no heat generation...

 

Any ideas?

troubleshooting step: press and hold the power button for 15 seconds, release... the press button again to restart
