That's possible, because there is an HP Elitedesk 800 G5 Microtower that was sold in some countries, but not in North America

The Microtower became the Z1 G5.

The 800 G4 MT was the last model series sold in North America, but they still continued the 800 G# model series for the small form factor and smaller desktop mini.

In any event, I have given you the only information I have.

That's because there is no such notebook.

The 860 G9 replaced the 850 G8 which was discontinued after that.

So, either the seller is wrong about the display size, or he is selling you the older model 850 G8.

I'm a little bit confused

I read before posting my question here about hp decided to replace 850 with 860 in G9

However, i found websites in other countries selling

850 G9 12th generation in addition to my seller if he is selling G8 it's supposed to be 11th generation not 12th !!

Not sure maybe hp discontinued 850 model ,but still release it in certain countries ?

Hi!

Although anything is possible, and it's not unheard of a product -that's just a CPU refresh- being sold only in certain markets, in this case I'm pretty sure (as mentioned above) that the 850 G9 is as real as.....the unicorn.

The Elitebook 850 G8 is a laptop with the dimensions (W x D x H) 14.15 x 9.2 x 0.75in, so if such a refresh existed these would be the dimensions for the new 12th gen system as well. However, the oukitelstore site lists the dimensions for both the 850 G9 (supposed refresh) and the 860 G9 that it sells as: 14.12 x 9.88 x 0.76 in. These dimensions are actually the dimensions of the new 860 G9 laptop series. Therefore, the seller is wrong -but really it's not that big of a mistake since the 850 had a 15.6in (39.62cm) diplay and the 860 has a 16.0in (40.64cm) one. This is a difference of 1cm.........
