I have an elitebook x360 1047 .  Both the touchpad and the keyboard are completely messed up!!!!!!!  The touchpdad sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t . Often I have to hard tap it for it to work  The keyboard cursor keeps jumping all over the place as I type and sometimes just disappears until I hard tap the touchpad.

 

Can anyone help with advice please?  Just to type this has taken me more than 10 minutes!!!!!

This is a huge issue with HP laptops. Mine has been messed up since I bought it and been sent in for repair after jumping through hoops for days, to have it never actually being fixed. Now it's worse than before it was repaired and still getting the run around. HP is terrible about support and customer service, so good luck. I'm done with HP after this
