HP ZBook Power 15.6 inch G10 Mobile Workstation PC (7C3L9AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I've been using my HP ZBook Power G10 since the beginning of December 2023 and I'm quite satisfied on the whole. My colleagues have the same model, so I recently found out that my power management doesn't seem to be working properly. My charge indicator constantly shows that my battery is charging (the little flash on the battery icon). I have set in the BIOS and in the HP Power Manager (both the latest versions) that the battery life should be extended. I was surprised that 100% battery availability is always displayed, but apparently this has been standard since a BIOS update after 2021, so you can no longer understand which setting is currently active. Anyway, I recently had a battery warning in my HP Support Assistant. This was to be replaced due to a mistake. I opened a supportcase and continued to operate the laptop. After a BIOS update, the warning suddenly disappeared: I described this to the support and the maintenance order was canceled. After I recently took another look at the screen of my colleagues with the same model, I saw that their battery indicator only shows up to 80%. A small heart will also appear on the battery icon, which probably indicates that the battery life will be extended. This made me wonder, because we basically have the same models with the same versions and battery settings. I had a batteryreport done in Windows 11 and the battery capacity is at 76% after only 9 months (29 cycles). The HP Power Manager shows 77%. It seems to me that the battery is exposed to a constant load due to incorrect programming. This extent of battery loss can't be normal, can it?
