Hello,
I own a wondefull ZBook G5and no less wonderful Compaq Keyboard that I'm having a hard time letting go of. The keyboards are model numbers 247430-51 and 166516-056.
They all have a PS/2 connector. I bought a PS/2 > USB keyboard adapter, and connect them to the zBook via one of the USB ports.
None of the keyboards work, and I get an error message "Code 43".
I spent all day yesterday reading the forums, updating drivers, trying various diagnostic software, but nothing helped.
Does anyone know how to help me?
I'd love to continue using one of these old keyboards, as they're really comfortable, and also out of sentimentality for the Compaq brand.
I'd be really grateful to anyone who can help me.
