Hello.

 

To exclude Windows and other software from interfering with your laptop, I would recommend first testing the keyboard in HP UEFI Hardware Diagnostics.

 

When you restart your computer, keep hitting ESC key when HP Logo is shown. You will be presented with a menu with F2 Diagnostics. If you cannot press F2 to start the diagnostics, the keyboard is very likely faulty and needs servicing/replacing.

 

If you can start the diagnostics, run the keyboard test and test all keys. If the keyboard is functioning properly, this is a problem in Windows.
