HP Case [Personal Information Removed]

BIOS R92 Ver. 01.28.00

 

Hi Guys & Gals

 

I have recently installed a BIOS update via HPSA followng the update the laptop has a fan issue - on power off the Fan spins up to 100% and stays there until power is removed and the battery is depleated or removed.

 

I have tried everything software to resolve this.

 

I have fully reinstalled Windows & all Drivers

Rolled back the BIOS

Replaced the battery & Power supply brick

Run all hardware checks

 

I have logged a case with HP who seem to think the unit is out of warranty - Nothing to do with device warranty HP have supplied a defective BIOS which has caused this issue/failure.

 

My optons for rectifcation seem limited, Do I really need to go the legal route to get a resolution?

 

Any help much appriciated.
