Welcome to HP Support Community, @Ehiz

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

1.Remove all spaces and invalid characters
→ Try entering as one line without breaks.

2.Make sure you're not pasting a part number instead of Feature Byte
The code from HP PartSurfer sometimes includes:

Marketing codes

Hardware build IDs

Localization tags
These are not always BIOS Feature Bytes.

3.Enter Feature Byte inside BIOS if supported
Some HP models allow this under:
BIOS → System Configuration → Feature Byte

4.If using tool, run CMD as Administrator
The WMI writer will fail if not executed elevated.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
