Hello,
have installed the latest driver and the BIOS is said to be uptodate, but still the fingerprint sensor, although being cleaned, does not react when trying to register a finger. I'm afraid that this is a hardware problem and the sensor needs to be replaced, or has anyone a better solution?😐

Did you buy this option for your machine ? Many machines of the series do not have this option, they have a place for Finger print but no sensor (reader) underneath .
