HP ProBook 450 G2 BIOS Password Locked — Need SMC.BIN

Hello HP Support,

I have a ProBook 450 G2 (Serial Number: #) that is locked with a BIOS password I unfortunately forgot.

After multiple failed attempts, the system does not show a "System Disabled" code, which I understand is normal for ProBook models with enhanced security.

I have the following details:

  • Serial Number: #

  • UUID: 897b61ff-d64c-11e3-9122-0075790000ff

I am requesting support for obtaining an SMC.BIN file to reset the BIOS password.

This is my personal machine, and I can provide proof of ownership if needed. I would really appreciate assistance with unlocking the BIOS.

Thank you in advance!
