I Forgot the bios password of my HP Probook 450 G3 DDR3 (P4P32EA#BH4)
I have setting it months ago and forget all about it now i can't make any bios updates or changes because of that.
I opened the case and pulled out the RTC battery for 5min i haven't found any reset jumper on it, but when the laptop started again the bios menu only tell that the time has being lost and should be setted again, the bios admin password remain still.
I m stuck on it, and i received this PC 4 months ago as a gift
please help !! please contact me if you need some specific info on the laptop it self

i've read multiple times that the battery removal trick may not even work, but they typically say to remove it for 15-30 minutes.....not sure 5m was long enough. if you type the wrong BIOS pass 3 times and are lucky enough to get an "error code"....you can maybe use bios-pw.org to get a temporary pw to change or update the bios pw. i have an HP ProBook 455 G3 that doesn't display this 'error code" so i'm looking for another way now. hope this helps

thanx! i have seen options like removing the CMOS battery for 15-30 minutes, fumbling with the dipswitches, and even a downloadable tool to remove the BIOS pw. i know plenty about computers but i'm no technician....so i don't want to tinker with the inner workings at all. i guess i will just continue to read and educate myself on this. i managed to get in once to upgrade to Win 10 Pro but the install won't complete until i bypass this BIOS....thx again for the reply
