In our company we ordered several HP ZBook Fury's G8 (specs bellow).
We're not that satisfied with the performance. However we always use them docked tot a G5 USB-C docking station. (S/N 5CG104XR6Z - L61609-001 )
We always install all updates/patches/firmware.
About 10x day the external screens go black and we need to unplug/plug the USB-c.
After using the Fury for a while without the docking it is almost like another system. It's much more stable.
Could it be that this docking is not ideal for our workstations?
Suggestions here?

Hello.
Ideal dock with this model is the HP Thunderbolt 4 dock 230W since it will also provide full charging power to the laptop instead of the 100W that USB-C is restricted to. Check your Zbook power supply. If it is >100W then you'd also need to keep it connected to the laptop together with the USB-C G5 dock. Thunderbolt also provides more bandwidth for multiple high resolution displays.
Your USB-C G5 is also a supported dock type, however. It has its own firmware downloads as well, and I recommend you try updating the firmware first.
