Product: Elitebook 840 G7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have recently moved to Elitebook 840 G7. We manage our build using SCCM. I have created a new drive package and added it to our build.

 

The machines seems to image ok but once finished the touchpad doesn't function. I can see the driver in the driver package.

 

They work in Winpe which would suggest the boot image is ok and they also work at bios level.

Is there something I'm missing any guidance welcome.

Elitebook 8x0 G7 touchpad driver is include in Intel Serial IO softpaq.

 

if touchpad is not working probably is didn't install all drivers for Intel chipset.

 

Same driver could be used in WinPE to have the touchpad working in that environment
