Product: Example: HP ENVY - 13-ah0043tu
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Just bought myy laptop . Bought a C port convertor from Amazon Basics. The convertor is working fine with other systems. THe HDMI cable has also been checked and found to be working. But I am not able to connect my Envy to the monitor. The scree settings has been PC Screen only . I have changed the settings and tried all the options available.

You need HDMI Alt Mode for USB Type-C connector, not basic one. Please read the following article
