Microsoft Windows 11

Looking at the HP laptop model #17-cn0023dx. Wondering if any of the USB-C ports support charging. Looking to get a docking station to make it easy to plug and unplug all of my peripherals. Thanks!

Its specs

It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

Regards.

Thank you, Banhien! So, if I get a hub that is powered through USB-C, I can connect the monitors to it but still would not be able to chrge it through the hub, correct? I would have the power cord charging the laptop through the pwoer port and then the hub with the USB-C would handle the monitor, printer, etc. but would not power the lapto (even through the hub)?

Sorry - I hit send by accident.

Or are you saying that a hub would do me no good? My thought was to connect all peripherals to a hub and then to the laptop to make it easier on my father-in-law to uplug 1-2 cords and port his laptop around.
