I have a ZBook 15u g5, or whatever the order it goes in. I also have the UltraSlim docking station, which does fit and function for the most part.
I use Linux, Ubuntu 22.04 specifically, so I cannot update the firmware without installing windows on some machine.
I am planning to take a spare Windows SSD from work so I don't have to waste 2 hours installing windows for a silly firmware update.
My question is, if I upgrade the firmware in this manner, will the DisplayPorts on the dock still work? Or will it only work with Windows? (The USB ports, power button and charging work on the dock just fine, so Linux already work)

The Display Ports will still work, the docking station firmware is OS (operating system) independend for the "users"
best regards
