HP 250 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All,

We have brought about 6 HP 250 G8 laptops. When connecting a dock to one of the USB sockets on the right hand side, the USB's will repeatedly disconnect and connect with the screens going black and the "bing-bong" alert. For some this happens once every hour or less. For others it is practically constantly once or twice every 30 seconds. Though this is now reduced a bit.

The USB socket furthest to the back is significantly worse than the other. Even with the plug fully engaged, moving the plug, even a tiny amount causes it to happen. The leads are all USB A 3.0.

We have:

Updated Windows fully and regularly

Updated drivers for everything connected several times.

Updated the firmware on the dock a couple of times

Tried different docks.

Tried different screen.

Tried different Leads (I know-clutching at straws).

Spent many hours personally (and service provider) on this.

Any advice in solving this would be greatly appreciated.

Tnx

Ivan
