Try Resistencia's suggestion and see if that works.

What's happened according to your last screenshot is the AMD HD audio device was removed and replaced with a standard 'High Definition Audio Device.'

That needs to indicate "AMD High Definition Audio Device.'

I think you're getting close...

Hello!

Thank you for idea. Unfortunately, currently system become unstable , already few reboots. I think soon I will loose my new notebook.
How to reinstall Realtek driver? Device manager under specific devices says what drivers already installed.

Hi:

I don't think that you have to uninstall anything.

Just use 7-Zip to extract sp160248 to its folder and manually browse from both the AMD audio device and the High Definition audio device to install/update the two drivers.

Those are the only drivers you should need.

Sorry Paul and Resistencia,

same naming like on previous picture. No changes, no new devices, no mic.

Hi, Andy:

Sorry that nothing we suggested worked.

You can try the driver that got the microphone to work again, but if it quits working again after you restart the PC, I wouldn't have any other suggestions for you to try.

Paul,

thank you for your time. Does it mean that HP is not supporting this model officially for Win11, if there are not suitable drivers on model page? Looks not good. Also HPIC000C driver was absent.

Not sure if possible, will think about returning this HP to shop.

You're very welcome, Andy.

HP does support the notebook for W11 since there are W11 drivers for it on the support page.

There are only W11 drivers for it on the support page.

HP 255 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC (8X8Q7ES) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

You need this driver for the HPIC000C device:

HP Application Enabling Software Driver

sp153009.exe

Did you try extracting the W11 audio exe file from your notebook's support page to install those two devices?

Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

sp158639.exe

HPIC000C is installed already, another one too (Realtek). Only PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_15E2&SUB was absent until now. Maybe I mix up HPIC000C with another one (0003 or so), found also in history in this forum

Now in that Realtek sp158639 audio driver file, there is this folder with several of those ID's listed and I mean a lot.

I zipped just that file up and attached it below.

The HP enabling driver also has support for the ACPI\HPIC0003 device.

I installed drivers from sp158639.exe at the begining (automatically). Just in case now I tried to add drivers via device managers, system checked all drivers and the was no new to install.
