Hi,

You can first try to use some compressed air to clean the air vents and see if helps. You can buy canned air at local electronics store. Use when PC is off and cold and keep can straight as to not spray liquid into PC, as it can freeze the components.

Most likely it will not help much. I would replace the fan and in the meantime also replace the thermal material between CPU and heatsink and any other thermal paste or pads between heatsink and components. Use high quality thermal paste such as Arctic MX-4 and clean off all the old paste with lint-frr cloth and alcohool (or TIM remover). YOu can also use a softy plastic tool to scrape off any dried parts. On pages 79-85 you can see the steps to remove fan/heatsink to replace. You need to remove the fan from heatsink, there could be tape holding in place which you can replace with electrical tape.

Even though the fan and heat sink are considered one part you can buy seperately online by using part number 646180-001 and writing fan.
