Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi, I have an issue with my HP EliteBook 840 G6: the brightness keys F3 and F4 don't work. Other keys such as MUTE, Volume Up, Volume down, Numlock, WiFi (Airplane mode) toggle work fine.
My system is Windows 10 Pro x64 22H2 with the latest BIOS.
So far I have tried:
Disable/Enable PnP monitor in Device manager
Uninstall/Install display adapter drivers
Update all the possible drivers (incl. the graphics driver)
Also installed these from hp support page
- HP Collaboration Keyboard Software
- HP Support Assistant
- Essential System Updates for Microsoft Windows 10
- HP Application Enabling Software Driver
- Installed HP Hotkey Support Driver.
