Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Active Pen which I used with my previous HP Pavillion laptop and loved it. I now have an HP ProBook x360 435 G8 Notebook PC which I got specially to use the 2 in 1 and touchscreen but I can't get the pen to pair.  Is the pen incompatible with the laptop and if not, how do I pair it?
(Pen is old syle with 2 buttons on side)

I can't find any compatible stylus on its manual. Please re-check yourself
