Hi all,

in the Bios Settings for the battery is the followig topic available:

HP will balance your battery health and battery duration (read-only)

and  for the topic are two options available:
  *Enabled
  Enabled & Activated

What is the difference between "enable" and "enable & activated"?

What is the default setting and recommendation of HP?

Not sure exactly what you are looking at... the 'Battery Health Manager' setting currently has 3 options

Battery Health Manager
    Maximize my battery health
*Let HP manage my battery charging
    Maximize my battery duration

This blog has specific information on the setting and to set it remotely, in case of a business need - https://developers.hp.com/hp-client-management/blog/improving-battery-health-battery-health-manager

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.
