HP Dragonfly 13.5 inch G4 Notebook

I bought this model for my company's top management user on Feb 2024. my conclusion for this model is: skip it, me and top management regret getting this unit. HP, if you see this post, I hope you you swap for me another unit.

The unit shipped in February 2024. For the first three weeks, the hard disk failed to detect when the user woke up from sleep. The user needed to power off, unplug, and power up again. This happened every day after the meeting and after lunch.

I called HP support and complained, and they agreed to swap a brand-new unit for us (I don't know if it's a new set). 

OK, now the hard disk is at least working after sleep.

one issue is gone, another issue arises: the camera keeps on disabling on Teams meeting, a restart will solve the problem, and the update with the latest Windows patch, drivers, and bios are still the same. now I set another temporary notebook for the boss to use for Teams (oh my god)

2nd issue is that the battery cannot charge even after plugging in with the adapter. I called HP, and they provided the solution: to close the unit, press the power button for a few seconds, and plug in the adapter. it solve the issue once a while but still repeating the issue, within a year, I have call HP to replace 2 times battery, 2 times in a year! I asked for a full set replacement but was rejected by HP.

The HDMI port was not working, at the latest, so I called HP. They agreed to replace the motherboard. 

Uncountable support cases have arisen in a year. I regret not selecting the Lenovo X1 but this dragonfly.

Please think twice before you buy.
