Hi,
I decided to take the plunge and upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7. The install failed several times, so in the notes it recommend that I upgrade the BIOS. Since doing this my trusty HP 7500 fails to boot, hangs if a USB stick is added and won't even see the hard drive on the SATA board. I cannot get into the BIOS I have tried the following.
1. Did the 10 second reset (as instructed)
2. Did the CMOS jumper change.
3. Removed the battery
(Step by step - tried to get into BIOS each time) the logo quickly goes to "Hard drive not connected or disk..." so in that vain I have taken out the hard drive and checked it works in another machine, which it does perfectly.
My HP Elite 7500 MT is the i7 3770, I do not want to write off this machine as it's been an amazing computer and was working perfectly until I decided to upgrade to Windows 10 (I know, I know... don't touch it if it's working)
Any help would be really appreciated is there anything I can do to save my HP Elite 7500?
Regards,
Andrew
