Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

So I currently have an HP Elite x2 1012 g1 model, and I'd like to upgrade to the g2 model instead. Do they use the same kind of hard drive? Would I be able to put the hard drive from the g1 model into the g2 model?

The HP Elite x2 1012 G2 Tablet gives you the same SATA storage options as the G1 but also adds support for M.2 NVMe SSD's

I don't know what the 256 GB SATA III solid state drive NVMe in the G1 specs is all about.  Probably a typo.

Drives are either SATA or NVMe, not both.

So would I be able to take the hard drive from a g1 and put it into a g2? I'm asking because I went to go check the links you posted and it seems like you posted the same one twice so I got confused.
I only know some basic computer stuff and I'm more knowledgeable about software stuff.

You're right.

I did mess up there.

Yes, you can take the M.2 SSD from the G1 and install it in the G2.
