I have an HP EliteBook 745 G6 with AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U and Radeon Vega 8 graphics. After upgrading to Windows 11 Pro version 23H2, the AMD graphics driver stops working after every restart. Device Manager shows "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". The screen resolution becomes very low when this happens.

What I have tried: Clean uninstall using DDU in Safe Mode. Disabled Windows automatic driver updates. Installed HP OEM AMD driver (2019). Installed older AMD drivers. Installed latest AMD drivers from AMD website. Updated BIOS to R74 Ver. 01.32.00. Multiple clean Windows 11 installs. Hardware diagnostics all passed.

The driver works temporarily after installation but fails after every restart.

Is this a known compatibility issue between Windows 11 and AMD Vega graphics on HP EliteBook 745 G6? Is there an official workaround or recommended driver to permanently fix Code 43?

This indicate hardware fault. I suggest you to downgrade to previous 23h2 version to confirm its not hardware.
