Product: HP EliteBook 830 G7 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a 1 year old EliteBook 830 G7 Notebook whose fan has gone. It starts up with a lot of noise and stops, no dust to be seen there. Sounds like a broken bearing.
There is no HP service nearby and the laptop is being worked on every day. Should I spend some time at HP Support to get a new fan sent or should I just order it with express on Alibaba?

HP Recommended

I took the fan out and bathed it in WD40. Now it is quieter than when I got the laptop.
