Hi,
My laptop is cycling between the 'repairing disk errors,this might take more than an hour' screen and trying to boot again, starting repairs and then back to the same screen. It has been doing this for many days without any progress and now it shows like ' hard disk error'.
My laptop is not under warranty period. So, I would like to know how can I fix this.

That error typically means the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. That will also mean that Windows needs to be reinstalled.
