Hi,
I have the following configuration.
HP Elitebook 850 G8 and
thunderbolt g4 or USB-C G5 dockingstation, I have both
I try to use my two old but good displays HP LP2465 with a std. resolution of 1920*1200
What I have try
1. 850 with G4, internal display works with 1920x1080, 1x external HP display with display port to DVI adapter to LP2465, works with 1920x1200
2. 850 with G4, internal display works with 1920x1080, 2x external HP display with display port to DVI adapter to LP2465, works with 1680x1050 ( recommended )
3. 850 with G4, internal display works with 1920x1080, 1x external HP display with display port to DVI adapter to LP2465, works with 1680x1050 ( recommended ), 1x external HP display with HDMI to DVI cable to LP2465, works with 1680x1050 ( recommended )
4. 850 with G5, see 2.
5. 850 with G5, see 3.
I update both G4 and G5 with last firmware, last Bios for 850 also, latest driver for everything, changed Bios settings ( enable high resolution )....
Now, I have no ideas anymore.
Both external HP displays working with 1920x1200 on my PC, same cable / adapter.
I hope, someone can help me.
THX

On page 1 of its manual, it
- Supports maximum of three independent displays when on the HP USB-C Dock G5; Max resolution = 4 K @ 30 Hz (DisplayPort 1 and DisplayPort 2)
- Supports maximum of three independent displays when on the HP Thunderbolt™ Dock 120 W G2 (through USB-C); Max resolution = 4 K @ 30 Hz (DisplayPort 1 and DisplayPort 2)
Thunderbolt g4 dock is NOT on the compatible list.
Regards.

Hi Banhien ,
thx for your answer.
Now, I have only my USB-C G5 connected, both external displays say 1680x1050 max...
1. with display Port Adapter and Full DVI-I cable
2. with HDMI on Full DVI-I cable
Any idea? Driver / BIOS settings...
