HP EliteBook 735 G5 Base Model Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

i'm facing an issue with my Elitebook 735 G5.

A few days before it worked really fine.

I've resetted Windows (to give it my parents) and shut down the Elitebook normally (holding power button for a few times until it turns off).

So, now the device is not turning on anymore (no display reaction, no fan, nothing happens).

When i'm only at battery i can push the power button and this button glows for a few seconds (white).
Then it turns off and the led located at power connector blinks 10 times in orange and then white to orange for 6 times.

When i'm pluging in the ac adapter the led at the power connector is white.
When i'm pressing the power button nothing happens.
When i'm holding the power button for about 15 seconds the white led turns off and it starts blinking 6 times in orange & capslock is glowing for this few seconds - after that it's white again.

I've also tried to remove the battery and start it only with charger - but this does not help.

Another try was to use a USB-C Charger (90W) which also has no other effect.

Does anyone have an idea?

Thank you!

Hello.

Check the Maintenance and Service Guide page 74, and the HP generic LED diagnostic code page.

Some blinks are longer and some quicker. Can you match the blinks to any specific problem?
