Hi, I'm having trouble connecting my HP Elitebook 745 G5 to the HP G4 Dock. Well, theoretically, the connection works fine, but the internet never reaches full speed. When I connect the same ethernet cable directly to the computer, the internet speed is 600mbp/s, while through the docking station, the internet reaches a maximum of 150mbp/s.

Hello,
Could it be that in BIOS, you have enabled high resolution mode for the PC when it is connected to docks ?
May be this is the cause ?
Please, go to BIOS (F10) -> Advanced tab -> System options.
Make sure that "Enable High Resolution mode when connected to a USB-C DP alt mode dock" is UNCHECKED. Unchecked is the default option.
If the above high res. mode is active, then it allocate more bandwidth to a USB-C dock to support the highest resolutions on a DisplayPort monitor attached to it, but the speed via USB drops.
