I have a HP Elitebook 850 G7, and the laptop fan randomly spins up really loud, and sometimes ramps up and down. It is very annoying. Has a Intel Core i5-10310U processor, 16GB RAM, and a 250 GB SSD. The CPU and RAM usage is not high in Task Manager when this happens. The CPU temps were around 40 C the last time this happened. I attached a video of it happening so you can hear it.
I updated the BIOS, Windows 10 is up-to-date, I updated the Intel HD Graphics Driver, Intel HID Event Filter Driver, and Intel Dynamic tuning driver.
This randomly doesn't happen for a couple weeks, then happens several times in one week. Connected to a HP USB-C G4 dock.
Does anybody have a solution for this?
