Elitebook x360 1020 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I do not understand why this is such a hard question to find an answer to, but... I want to know which Active Pen I can use.

According to the Matrix, only "1FH00AA", "Active Pen with Spare Tips" is compatible with the x360 G2 1020.

Directly under the product, HP suggests using the "1MR94AA" aka "HP Active Pen" for use with the device.

Now there are a lot of posts going around about how Pen X and Pen Y don't work with said Elitebook and I cannot find any information on whether the 1MR94AA is actually compatible. And, to be honest, I'm not in the mood to either spens 120€ on a pen or spent 50€ just to realize it doesn't work.

Does anyone have reliable information on whether 1MR94AA works or whether only 1FH00AA works and maybe how they are the same or different?

Thanks!

Hi,

According to HP document for compatibility of pens (which is regulary updated) only the 1FH00AA will work with your PC:

Hope it helps,

Hi,

Yes, that's the matrix I found as well. It's also the most expensive pen and they still suggest the other pen when browsing the Elitebook x360's accessories, which is the part that makes me wonder.

Also, the other pen isn't even listed anywhere on this list, so either it's incompatible to every HP device or they somehow didn't list it?

Best

Martin
