hello

a few days ago i've got and installed updates from windows update centre (was updated video, bios and something else, can't remember).after that the problems started. when i turn on laptop and OS loaded, screen becomes black for 15-30 seconds every few seconds and OS very lags.

when i delete intel hd video driver all work good.

when i start in safe mode all work good

i tried:

- reinstall OS (win10 to win11);

- try other OS (manjaro linux);

- install older version of video driver;

- downgrade bios.

that all didn't help. before updates all work good.

are there any ways to solve the problem or i just so lucky and my intel hd 620 just died at the same time as updates installed?

about six month ago fingerprint in this laptop didnt work correctly too after reinstall OS, but after december updates it's works again. in situation with fingerprint i tried all ways to fix it, but it solved after installing last updates so i hope maybe this problem with intel hd temporary too, but i need to fix it ASAP and i hope you guys have any ideas to help me....

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see my knowledge base article at the link below for how to manually update the Intel HD graphics driver to the last version that Intel released for the HD 620 about a year ago.

I do not believe that this is the version of the driver that W10/W11 installs by default.

If your device manager is showing a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter instead of the Intel HD graphics adapter, update the driver from that device instead.
