I am experiencing an issue with my HP EliteBook 840 G11 laptop. Upon startup, I am encountering the following error message:
"HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem: HP Sure Start detected a write access failure in the HP Endpoint Security Controller. The repeated occurrence of this problem indicates a security concern that should not be ignored. See the HP Sure Start events in the Windows Event Log for more details about each HP Sure Start event."
I would like guidance on how to resolve this issue. Could you please advise on the steps needed to address this problem?

I'm really unsure if this is normal procedure but here is how I fixed this problem myself.
- unplugged Power
- opened up the back by removing screws
- Disconnect battery
- Remove Ram
- put back just one ram dimm instead of two (noticed here that I had two different brands...shouldn't be a problem but thought i'd mention it)
- Power on
Basically it did a BIOS update from there, restarted 4-5 times and booted to windows no problem....
I'm thinking the client might have closed the laptop during a bios update ? or something else happened....
Might as well give this a try before sending it in.. especially that everything I read on forums and youtube is to have the motherboard replaced or do something very technical that requires soldering and bios dumping etc.
Hope this helps
