I bought an HP Envy laptop because I have always been satisfied with HP,  I've used many of their products and printers. A year after having this laptop the hinge came out of the left side, randomly.  I did my research and found dozens and dozens of complaints of the same issue. Even with the clear manufacturer defect I decided to pay the money and fix it, after the tech opened the laptop to fix the hinge he discovered that a wire located right near the hinge dislodged and fried the board. From a lifelong HP user I will Never buy their product again. HP knows this is an issue and has known for quite some time. Do better HP.
