Hi Folks,
Can you please assist me in how to fix the issue below in applying the firmware update SP151272 using theC:\SWSetup\SP151464\HPImageAssistant.exe
This is the manual install using the sp151272.exe
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.
Check the c:\swsetup\sp151272 folder for a log file. It should contain error or warning messages.
Typically BIOS update errors in this stage are due to the EFI partition being too full. The BIOS update actually only copies the files to the EFI partition and on next boot your laptop notices the pending updates and only then are BIOS and all other firmware packages processed and flashed.
If you are using a HP preinstalled OS image, the EFI partition is 300MB in size. If you have installed Windows on your own, it defaults to 100MB which would be fine in normal usage but for example the HP UEFI Diagnostics package installs itself into the same EFI partition and leaves too little space for BIOS updates.
The HP BIOS update program can also create a bootable USB drive for updating the BIOS.
