Hi,

I recently purchased an HP G5 USB C docking station, but I cannot get it to power up. When I plug it into the power supply, no lights on the unit turn on (including the bottom light). When I tried to go through HP Support, I could not register my product as I got an error that the serial number is invalid. 

 

In what case would the dock not power up? I tested the power supply input input power with a multimeter and I get nominal readings of 19.5 V for power and 6 V for the sense pin.

Where did you purchase the dock from ?

What is the product number of the dock ?

Could you take a picture (or some pictures) of your dock and the charger you use showing them from all sides ?
