HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We purchased (6) EliteBook 645 G9 and (6) G5 USB-C Essential docking stations.  So far 3 of the 6 docking stations have experienced an issue where it constantly "dings" between the screen save time out and the sleep time out.  The sound is like when a USB device is connected/disconnected.  All of the docking stations have the updated firmware.  I have checked all power save settings on the PC to make sure there is no conflict.  Tested different PCs with different docking stations and it seems to be docking station specific.  When the PC is disconnected and allows to go into screen saver mode and eventually sleep mode, it does not have an issue.  I worked with HP support for about 2 weeks on various testing steps such as changing the monitor and Display Port cable, different mouse and keyboard, disconnecting any other USB accessories like scanners; but nothing worked.  Finally HP agreed to send replacement docking stations however when they arrived, the replacements were G5 USB-C stations and not the Essential line.  That is fine with me because the replacements seem to have corrected this issue.  Just curious if anyone else has had this same issue.
