Since we switched to version 5.3.5 our HP Elitebook G8 doesnt recognize the Biospassword file anymore.
We've had this issue once before a few years ago where some HPIA version ignored the password file but that was for all models. We have only seen this happen to G8 Laptops in 5.3.5.
It works well in 5.3.4.

Anyone else?

No it's not just you, HPIA does not ask for the BIOS password anymore on the latest release = password prompt after reboot. 

 

We urgently need this fixed. 

Noticed that on some models it seems to be able to update BIOS without entering the password.
