I have an HP Laptop 17-cp2xx.   Will the HP G5 USB-C docking station all allow me to use two monitors for this?

No, your machine only has one hopeless USB-C port which is NOT compatible with any USB-C docks including the HP USB-C G5.

Thanks for your help.  After receiving your response I looked up the various USB-C port configuration options.  Looks like I should have done my homework before purchasing this model.  It's been fine until just now when I wanted to add a dual monitor set up.
