If the HP MFP 323dnw is not printing on both sides automatically, first check the printer driver settings and make sure Duplex/Print on Both Sides is enabled. Also confirm that the correct HP driver is installed, as using a generic driver can sometimes hide duplex options.

If the duplex option is enabled but still doesn't work, try printing a two-page test document and check whether the issue happens from different applications. If you share your operating system and whether the printer shows a Print on Both Sides/Duplex option, it should be easier to narrow down the problem.
