Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there. Distant learning is the key word in our days and we need to support some of our teachers. Here we go:

I have got a question regarding a connected visualizer. It is a Lumens PC 193 and I've tried to run this device on different HP Elitebooks here in our school.  By the way: USB  is the one and only way, you can connect the visualizer to notebooks. So I've installed the latest software and drivers for this device. Everything is fine, but there is no picture displayed in the software (called Ladibug).

I could use a notebook from - sorry -  Lenovo, same Windows 10 version (64-bit), installed the same software version and drivers and it worked perfectly without any issue.

Any idea (e.g. BIOS setting, Windows 10 setting) etc.?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards

Dirk

Hello

reading the User's guide of Lumens PC 193, I understodo that , when connected to USB , it should acts as a webcam is it's ON, and as un USB Storage when it's OFF.

WHen you power on then OFF and viceversa, do you see something happening , like a refresh , in Device Manager ?

Does HP and Lenovo computers use the Same Windows version ? such as 1909, 1903, 1809 , .... ?

Which is the generation of your 1040 G  ? G6 , G5 , G4, G3 .... ?

Bye
