Recently, I needed to buy a wifi adaptor for HP ProBook 4430s, but I tried serveral adaptors, but one of them didn't work at all, so I found a wifi adaptor on an online marketplace, which is the Realtek RTL8188CE WiFi Adaptor (SPS 640926-001). I need to figure out if this card will work for my laptop.

Hello.
According to the Maintenance and Service Guide for 4430s, that 640926-001 is a supported module. 👍
Before ordering please check that your laptop has WLAN antenna wiring in place. There should be two antenna cables waiting at the WLAN socket. The cable should be there, but check just in case.
If the antenna cables are not included, you will also need to purchase the 646352-001 antenna cable, which needs to be routed into the display assembly for proper wireless connectivity.
Please note that the 640926-001 is a 1x1 part, which theretically limits the 802.11n speed to 150Mbps, and in practice to perhaps 50Mbps. There are also 2x2 modules which have double the transmit and receive radio chains and theoretically doubles the trasmit speed and will also be faster in practice.
Also, some of the WIFI cards are dual band, so they can use the 5GHz wireless networks as well for higher transfer speeds. Some cards also include Bluetooth 3.0 functionality if that's something that would benefit you.
Another thing to consider is Windows 10 compatibility. It is possible that none of the adapters have Windows 10 native drivers, so you probably have to resort to Windows 7/8 drivers. They may work just fine in Win10 but better Google around for this issue as well before choosing the adapter.
