Hello,
This is really annoying to deal with such a bad service like HP,
I have an issue with HP ProBook 450 G4 when trying to Encrypt using Bitlocker Drive Encryption, it gives an error (A compatible Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Security Device must be present on this computer, but a TPM was not found, please contact your system administrator) meanwhile it does exist on Bios, enabled and updated, i have contacted HP USA via Phone and they send me a form to fill out and i did right away with no reply from your side since 27 of July 2017, i have sent many reminders with no reply as well, i contacted HP USA one more time via phone as they given to me a number which is dedicated to HP Egypt, and the number is incorrect, this is really annoying and i need a solution right away as we already paid money for your products, we never get them for free ! 😞

Hi,
In device manager does the TPM module show up under tab security devices? Is written TPM 1.2? Does it show up in system devices? Can you try to update the drivers, or uninstall and reinstall drivers?
Also take a look at this thread:
Hope it helps,
David

Dear David,
Kindly note that, Security Devices does not shown up in Device Manager, so Trusted Platform Module does not exist as well, and please note that we are using Windows 7 Enterprise 64x SP1 in our enterprise, youe assistance is highly appreciated.
