HP ProBook 450 G5 Notebook Had booting problem, and I’d normally go through bio to boot from which I don’t like, so I decided to dabble, so I went in to the settings that says Microsoft and I booted from there and the system is stocked in a loop, I can’t access the bio anymore, whenever i press esc,f10,f11,f1,2. I even try upgrading the bio by using a bootable usb drive(press window and B, it’ll show the command but it will reboot again. Then I removed the rams and it stopped rebooting, but it’s not displaying anything. Please what can I do?.

Hello @Dylandre ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP ProBook 450 G5. Given the situation, here are some steps that might help you recover your system:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Perform a Hard Reset:

    • Disconnect all external devices and remove the power cord and battery.
    • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cord and battery, then try to power on the notebook.
  2. Access BIOS Recovery:

    • Connect the AC adapter, and with the notebook off, press and hold the Windows + B keys, and then press the Power button.
    • Release the Power button but keep holding the Windows + B keys.
    • This should open the BIOS recovery screen where you can try to rollback the BIOS.
  3. Reseat RAM and Hard Drive:

    • Power off the laptop, and disconnect it from any power source.
    • Remove and then reseal the RAM modules carefully.
    • Also, disconnect and reconnect the hard drive. This can sometimes resolve boot issues.
  4. Create and Use a BIOS Recovery USB:

    • Another attempt can be made with a USB drive specifically set up for BIOS recovery. Ensure the USB drive was created following HP's guidance for BIOS recovery USB drives.
  5. Consider Using HP Support or Professional Help:

    • If you're not comfortable with the above steps or they don't work, it would be a good idea to contact HP Support for assistance.

Hope this helps!
