Bonjour à tous,
depuis vendredi 22 avril, tous nos pc Probook 450, achetés en 2021 sont devenus LENTS, voir INUTILISABLES.
(11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz)
Opérations effectuées :
- maj windows
- maj bios
- maj windows facultatives
Les pc's se mettent à ramer au bout de 1 à 2 heures d'activité obligeant l utilisateur à eteindre le pc au bouton OFF.
Une idée ?

Hello
one thing I would checkif you have installed at the same time an Antivirus AND HP Worf Security.
I happened in the past that , with very specific version of Antivirus, there was an interaction with HP Wolf Security.
if it's that case , you can try to uninstall HP Wolf Secuirty and see what happens.
bye

Having everything UpToDate nowadays isn't always a good idea. ESPECIALLY the bios.
The above posts were correct in advising you to uninstall HP Wolf. I had the same problem with that program as well (Probook 650G8).
Since you don't have HP Wolf installed, I would suggest downloading and installing a program called Throttlestop, that monitors the CPU for any kind of severe throttling, and allows you to stop it as well. It's possible the latest BIOS and the CPU microcode update causes issues, but this is just my hypothesis, since I only update the BIOS if I NEED to so as to get an additional function. Anyways, try throttlestop and you will see if your CPU is downclocking to (say) 800mhz, explaining the issue.....

Currently we have different versions of BIOS, and it seems, that all of them have the same problem. Usually, it is RAM at maximum usage, and event if you close all applications, it is still at maximum usage.

If you've identified that the RAM is the reason for the system lock ups, then Windows is definitely the problem.
You could roll back on the Updates since it's obvious this was the source of the problem (some Update).
Sometimes just disabling the NDU solves these kinds of problems...... (google it because if I post links they will be modded.)
